How much snow are we getting?

I’m having a love hate relationship with my favorite news station tonight.  I’ve followed their weather report all day.  And I got home in time to watch them tonight.  And so what’s the problem you ask?  The information being relayed on their web page and mobile app hasn’t been updated since 5:30.  They lead tonights news with the fact that the weather forecast had been updated and all the local areas including Portland were new forecasted to get significantly more snow than had previously been stated.  So if I look at the mobile app we are getting 12 inches.  If I watched the local news tonight we are getting 22″.  That’s a lot of inches different.  And of course while watching their report they constantly tout staying up to date with the most recent forecast on their mobile app…which hasn’t been updated in almost 8 hours in the onset of a major snow storm.  Not very reliable if you ask me.

And if it were up dated I’d post the graphic from tonight’s weather report showing we are getting 22 inches.  But alas that’s not possible since they haven’t updated.

It also doesn’t help that I’m a little grumpy tonight.  I’ve already been short with Adam for apparently no reason.  Ugh.

I remember from literature class ‘snow’ is often used in stories to show people going crazy from isolation and cabin fever. I recall this when I hear folks in the NE getting more snow.

When I am grumpy for no obvious reason, hormones are usually to blame. Not sure how you could work that into the discussion.
