Help Me I’m drowning!

It’s been a very late night.

But for those of you curious.

Think about this.  Burst water pipe.  Wet servers.  Computer servers not waiters.  Think nothing computer driven working in the restaurant at all.

Think very frustrating.

Think much drinking as a way to deal with this.

It’s 6:33 a.m. and I’m going to bed.

What a fucking day.

“Fried servers” is not on the menu, Maddog!
One learns quickly in such a situation just how dependent we have become on those little microprocessing monsters.

On Mother’s Day around 3 or 4pm, a storm knocked out power to just about the whole town except where we were. However, the pump for the ladie’s room went out. Yeah, it was a good time.

i have not been in blog-land in a while and i come visiting to find this?!
I can feel your pain – our water leak from spring caused a cascade (pardon the pun) of expensive events to repair it all.
    i hope you fare well.

I hope your customers were drinking a lot and gave extra tips.

Just think how dependent we are of computers, not only us but all of us!

Sorry to hear you had a bad day. I went out to dinner last night and their computers were down too. They had to manually fill out all the credit card receipts. Luckily it wasn’t too busy. Despite the waiting, I still tipped well!

    Take care!
